BACKGROUND

My name is Anastasia and my background is primarily working in arts media doing PR and marketing development as well as participating in dozens of international art fairs and galleries. Through the years I have been inspired by the hundreds of artists I have worked with. They taught me how art can improve someone's quality of life and spiritual wellbeing. After a while, I realized the best way to promote these artists was to start my own gallery and use the skills I have gained throughout my career to introduce the world to these amazing paintings, sculptures, drawings, and photographs.

MISSION STATEMENT

 I strongly believe that art is not just an image or object but something to be deeply admired and appreciated. It is a transfer of energy, from the artist’s hands to the viewer’s soul. That it can impact someone so deeply that it becomes an essential part of  a person’s home and a person’s heart. The relationships I have had with artists have been varied: some were passing encounters, some were lifelong friendships. But no matter what, I have always noticed the mystical and dynamic energy that exists in their pieces. I am pleased to offer you a slice of their magic through these hand-selected works of art.

SUSTAINABILITY

Here at Oakey Doakey Art Gallery, we love the ocean as much as we love art. The beauty and power of nature is a major inspiration for many of our gallery’s art pieces. Because of this 5% of every art purchase through our gallery goes to our social initiative Artists against plastic- where we donate 5% from all purchases on our site to organize local beach clean ups to collect garbage from our oceans, rivers, and streams.
