Hello everyone! This Saturday, September 19th, is International Coastal Cleanup Day! As a gallery, Oakey Doakey works to create a better world that is inspired by art and friendship. One of our core missions is to protect the ocean and its wildlife.  In the past, we have partnered with organizations such as 4Ocean to facilitate large scale beach cleanups. However, due to current covid restrictions, large gatherings of cleanup volunteers are currently prohibited. Instead, this year we will be hosting a small group to help collect trash from our local beaches with social distancing precautions taken into consideration.

one of these gatherings will take place on the 30th of September.
