This painting by Sasha is an abstract piece that uses her signature impasto technique to tell a story of fluttering, flying, and falling. In this painting, she utilizes a non-traditional lilac, mustard, and moss green palette to catch the viewer’s eye. The different hues contrast and complement each other to create a controlled sense of chaos. Even though the composition is abstract there is a clean downward line of action within it. Her paint strokes emulate a flock of birds diving down to the mysterious field of nature that stands out from the less vibrant hues that surround it.
