Yohannes Yamassee is a multidisciplinary artist, architectural designer, and cultural storyteller whose work bridges fine art, spatial design, and ancestral memory. Drawing from African and Indigenous philosophies, his practice explores identity, land, and legacy through painting, large-scale installations, and architectural illustration. He is the founder of Sankofa Reservation, a cultural platform merging African ancestral wisdom with the historical and contemporary realities of Native American reservations. Yohannes’ work has been featured in private collections, creative collaborations, and international art and design spaces. Through his practice, he seeks to reimagine how art, architecture, and history can coexist as living, functional narratives.
